Winter can make us want to slow down, stay indoors, and put our healthy habits on hold.

But looking after yourself doesn't need to be complicated.

Keep moving, even if it's just a short walk. Stay hydrated, drinking water is just as important in winter. And make time to rest when your body needs it.

Small habits can make a big difference to how you feel during these cooler months.

A mum, a women's health advocate, and someone who genuinely cares about helping women feel their best, Dr Elizabeth Goulding is passionate about supporting women through their health challenges.

With expertise in endometriosis, fibroids, and complex gynaecological conditions, she combines advanced surgical skill with a true understanding of how these conditions affect women's daily lives.

Dr Goulding knows that behind every diagnosis is a woman searching for answers. That's why she takes the time to listen and understand your story, providing care that is both expert and compassionate.

You don't realise how important strength is until you start losing it.

Not gym strength, everyday strength. The strength to carry your groceries without thinking about it. Getting up off the floor easily. Chasing after the grandkids. Feeling capable and confident in your own body.

As women age, we naturally lose muscle and bone density. The good news is, strength training can help us hold onto both.

If you're not sure where to start, a Grace physiotherapist can help you build strength safely by creating a plan that's right for you. For an appointment, contact our team today https://graceprivate.com.au/contact/

Choosing the right healthcare team is such a big decision.

Whether you're planning for a family, expecting a baby, or looking for support for a women's health concern, having access to a team all working together can make the journey feel a lot less overwhelming.

Here at Grace Private, we offer more than just medical care. Our multidisciplinary team includes obstetricians, gynaecologists, fertility specialists, psychologists, physiotherapists, dietitians and women's health GPs, all working together to support your well-being.

The truth is, your health journey often requires more than one specialist. That's why a multidisciplinary team can be so valuable, bringing together a team that provides coordinated, comprehensive care.

Bringing a baby into the world is one of life’s most incredible moments, and having the right support around you changes everything.

Our obstetrician, Dr Deanne Vagg believes every woman deserves to feel supported and heard. She wants every woman to feel confident in the choices she's making throughout pregnancy and birth.

Whether it’s a water birth, caesarean, induction or spontaneous delivery, her approach is simple: care that’s personal, calm and centred around you.

This is your story, your journey, your baby.

One of the biggest questions during pregnancy… “Are you finding out what you’re having?”

Some parents count down the days until that scan. Others hold onto the surprise until birth.

A little girl? A little boy? Either way, there’s something so special about imagining the tiny person you’re about to meet.

What would you choose — finding out early or waiting for the surprise?

PCOS is now called PMOS — Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome.

For many women, this feels like a long-overdue change, because this condition has never just been about cysts, it can affect hormones, metabolism, cycles, fertility, skin, energy and overall well-being.

A new name, and hopefully a step toward women with PMOS feeling more understood.
