🌟 Connection Crew - Term 2 School Holiday Groups

See Hear Speak’s social skills school holiday groups are running during the coming July holidays. Led by our NESA-accredited teacher, Lyndy Smith, these groups are designed to develop children's communication, social, and emotional skills through fun, play-based, evidence-informed activities and meaningful connection with peers.

📅 Group Dates: 7th & 14th July
👥 Groups of 4 children (2x of each age group - 6–8 years and 9–12 years)
🎯 Focus on communication, social skills, emotional regulation, and peer connection

A great day at the Primary Health Network conference last month, where our Clinic Director, Dr Andrew Wilkinson, presented on the topic ‘How to Implement Effective Whole-of-Family Care’.
Andrew shared practical insights into supporting children and young people through a collaborative, whole of family approach, highlighting the importance of engaging families to create meaningful and lasting outcomes for children and young people.

Help your child grow their communication and social skills in our ‘Confident Communicators’ Social Skills Group!
We’ll be focusing on:
• The basic building blocks of conversation
• Starting, ending & keeping conversations going (with fun role play!)
• Understanding “social thinking” – including non-verbal communication
🕒 2-hour sessions (choose your group):
Children 6–8 years:
📅 Tuesdays 7th & 14th April | 1:30pm – 3:30pm
Children 9–12 years:

Looking for something fun and meaningful for your child these holidays? Join our ‘Learners Launchpad’ School Readiness Program!
Through play-based activities, we’ll focus on:

• Social & emotional skills through interaction, turn-taking and self-help skills
• Fine and gross-motor skills through activities like crawling, jumping, threading, playdough manipulation, drawing and tracing
• Early academic foundations such as recognising patterns, colours, shapes and numbers

🕒 2-hour sessions (choose your preferred day):

Ready, Set, School! - January School Holiday Program

Get your child school-ready with our fun and engaging Ready, Set, School! group this January!
This program is best suited to children about to start Kindergarten or who have just finished their first year of Kindergarten.
🗓 Dates: 5th, 12th & 19th January
⏰ Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Our program supports children to build confidence and foundational skills for a smooth start to the school year, all delivered by our qualified teacher, Lyndy Smith.
