📢 Important Medicare Bulk Billing Changes – From 1 July 2026
From 1 July 2026, Medicare will require patient consent before bulk billed claims can be submitted.
To make this process as simple as possible, you may be asked to check in using your mobile phone or the iPad kiosk in our waiting room. This helps ensure any required Medicare consent is completed before your appointment and keeps things moving smoothly.
Some patients may also receive an SMS from our practice to provide consent for future bulk billed services, reducing the need to complete consent at each visit.
