On Tuesday this week I was saddened (and angry) to read about so many women being delayed or denied epidurals when giving birth.😢😡 Let me reassure you that my patients who ask for an epidural get one. There are very few acceptable reasons why a patient might not receive a requested epidural – and they are all medically related. We all want a healthy outcome for mother and baby. If you have any concerns or questions about pain relief during labour, please raise them at our next appointment. ☺️
