Your fitness test won’t adjust to your schedule.

Your training plan should.

You might be working long hours, rotating shifts, or trying to balance training with family and everyday responsibilities.

But waiting for the “perfect week” only gives the test more time to get closer.

You don’t need to train perfectly.

You need a clear plan that helps you use the time you do have and keeps your preparation focused on the standard you need to meet.

That means knowing:

âś… What sessions matter most
âś… How to train around a changing schedule
âś… How to build your running fitness progressively
âś… What to do when you miss a session
âś… How to prepare specifically for the beep test

Stop trying to force your life around a generic program.

Build your training around the life you actually have.

Comment “BEEP” and we’ll send you our FREE Beep Test Guide to help you train smarter and improve your score.

Aspiring police, military and first responder applicants if your push-ups break down before the required standard, doing more random push-ups is not always the answer.

You might be training hard.

You might be going to the gym consistently.

You might even feel stronger than you did a few months ago.

But if your push-ups still fall apart under fatigue, there is usually a specific reason behind it.

It could be:

❌Weak triceps
❌Poor core stability
❌Incorrect pacing
❌Technique breaking down
❌Not enough muscular endurance

The problem is, most people never identify the actual weak point.

They just keep doing more reps, hoping it eventually fixes itself.

But general fitness and fitness-test preparation are not the same thing.

You do not need another random workout.

You need a plan that prepares you for the exact standard you are expected to meet.

Because on assessment day, effort alone is not enough.

You need the strength, endurance, technique and confidence to perform when it counts.

If you are preparing for a police, military or first responder fitness assessment and your push-ups are holding you back

👉 Comment “PUSH” and I’ll show you how to start training for the standard.

How many more times are you going to tell yourself, “Next year”?

The test will not wait for your confidence, motivation, or perfect timing.

Every year you delay is another year you stay in the same place.

You do not need to be ready to start.
You need to start so you can become ready.

DM me READY and let’s build a plan that prepares you for the standard.

Discipline isn’t built when you feel motivated.

It’s built on the days you don’t feel like training… but you show up anyway.

Anyone can train when they’re excited.
The difference comes when the alarm goes off, you’re tired, work’s been hectic, and you still choose to put in the work.

That’s what creates consistency.
And consistency is what gets results.

If you’re preparing for the military, police, or first responder fitness tests, don’t rely on motivation. Build habits that keep you moving forward, even on the hard days.

💬 Comment DISCIPLINE and I’ll show you how to train with a plan that keeps you consistent.

You can train hard, sweat through every session, and still arrive underprepared.

Because fitness alone isn’t the goal.

The goal is to meet the exact standard required of you with the strength, endurance, pacing, and confidence to perform when it counts.

Random workouts can make you tired.
Purposeful training makes you ready.

Don’t wait until test day to find out whether your training was enough.

Train for the standard.
Prepare with intention.
Show up knowing you’ve done the work.

Comment READY if you want a structured plan built around the test you need to pass.

Curls and extensions look like vanity work until you're dragging a casualty or breaching a door under fatigue.

Dumbbell bicep curls build the pulling and dragging strength you need to control a resisting subject, pull a casualty to safety, or hoist gear over a barrier without your grip failing halfway through.

Dumbbell overhead tricep extensions build the pushing power behind every baton strike, every door breach, every time you have to push someone off you or press a load overhead under fatigue.

These aren't isolation exercises when your life depends on the outcome. They're job specific conditioning, and neglecting them is neglecting your readiness.

If you're an aspiring or currently serving military police officer or first responder, your training needs to reflect the demands of the role, not just what looks good in the gym mirror.

DM me the word READY and I'll send you the list of fundamental exercises every first responder should have in their program.

You weren’t made to blend in or follow the same path as everyone else.

You get one shot, so stop waiting for the perfect time, back yourself, and go after the goal that keeps pulling you forward.

The hard sessions, early mornings, setbacks, and doubts are all part of becoming someone stronger, more disciplined, and harder to break.

You may not feel ready yet, but growth starts when you move anyway.

Stand out. Put the work in. Make your shot count. 🔥

Comment READY if you’re done holding yourself back.
