Beautiful Day in Toowoomba!

Last week, we had a wonderful day trip to Toowoomba Flower Festival as part of Queensland Seniors Month! 🚌💐

Our seniors enjoyed beautiful gardens, colourful flowers, a delicious lunch and, most importantly, a lovely day together filled with smiles, laughter and great memories.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special!

And the adventure continues!*
Our next day trip is to Sirromet Winery & Lavender Farm! 💜🍇

🌷 Kolejne spotkanie polskich seniorów na północy Brisbane! 🌷

Być może część z Państwa słyszała już o naszej nowej grupie seniorów, ale jeśli jeszcze nie – serdecznie zapraszamy do zainteresowania się tą inicjatywą. To doskonała okazja do spotkań w polskim gronie, nawiązania nowych znajomości i wspólnego spędzania czasu.

📅 Nasze spotkania odbywają się w ostatni czwartek każdego miesiąca, a docelowo planujemy organizować je co tydzień.

Pierwsze kilka spotkań będzie odbywać się w Norths Leagues & Services Club, gdzie przy kawie, lunchu i grach będziemy mogli się lepiej poznać oraz wspólnie zaplanować przyszłe aktywności.

🌷 Next Polish Seniors Meeting in North Brisbane! 🌷

Some of you may have already heard about our new seniors group, but if not – we warmly invite you to take an interest in this wonderful initiative. It is a great opportunity to meet others in the Polish community, make new friendships, and enjoy spending time together.

📅 Our meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month, and in the future we are planning to run them weekly.

The first few meetings will take place at Norths Leagues & Services Club, where we will enjoy coffee, lunch, and games, get to know each other better, and plan future activities together.

This month marks the first anniversary of our Social Support Group for our enlish-speaking clients!

Joining a social support group is a wonderful way for seniors to stay active, connected, and engaged in the community. It provides friendship, companionship, and a sense of belonging while helping reduce loneliness and improve emotional wellbeing.

Our group offers a welcoming and relaxed environment where everyone can enjoy meaningful conversations, laughter, and new experiences together.

Activities we enjoy include:

🌿☕ What a beautiful trip to Mount Tamborine! We started the day with morning coffee at a cozy rainforest café, took in the stunning views at the lookout, and wrapped up with a delicious dinner at a classic English pub to celebrate an early St. Patrick’s Day. 🍀

Extra fun: some of our clients went all out and wore green just for the occasion! 💚

A big thank you to our lovely volunteers for all your help – your support made this trip even more special! 💚🙌

Feeling grateful for great company, amazing scenery, and a day full of laughter. 🏞️✨
