These are just some of the little things that help me feel a little less overwhelmed and a little more like myself throughout the day as a mama of two 🤍
~ Moving my body each day! Whether that’s some gentle stretching, yoga, or an afternoon walk. It really helps on the days that feel extra hectic.
~ Sepia homeopathic tincture is one of my go-to remedies for the burnt out mum who’s feeling emotionally flat. It can also be amazing for PMS and irritability. Flower essences are beautiful too for easing mental overwhelm and bringing a sense of calm.
~ Sunshine, nature, and grounding are such simple but powerful ways to boost your mood, reduce feelings of rage and overwhelm, and help regulate your nervous system (plus they’re amazing for your kiddies too).
~ Music and dancing are one of my favourite ways to shift stagnant energy and reset my mood when I’m feeling stuck or overwhelmed.
~ Getting lost in a good book or series can give your brain the break it desperately needs. (I’m currently a little obsessed with Off Campus 🙊)
~ Magnesium glycinate is my favourite form of magnesium because it’s bound with glycine, which supports a calm nervous system.
~ Herbal tinctures are beautiful for supporting stress and anxiety, while also helping with energy, focus, and mood.
~ And while coffee definitely doesn’t calm the nervous system 😅 … I genuinely look forward to my morning cup, and sometimes a little joy goes a long way too.
Motherhood can feel so overstimulating sometimes, and I’ve learned that the little things we do consistently can make the biggest difference 🤍
What’s one small thing that helps you feel more regulated when life feels overwhelming? I’d love to know ↓
