Could your thyroid be part of the picture?

An underactive or overactive thyroid can affect people differently. Changes in energy, weight, heart rate, temperature tolerance, mood or periods may have many causes, so symptoms alone cannot confirm a thyroid condition.

Yep, all of these cupcakes are for Dr Ravi... secretly, we’re hoping he shares! 🧁😜

All jokes aside, the team would like to say a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Dr Ravi! 💪🎉

Dr Ravi has been elected to the RACGP Queensland Faculty Council. The council represents GPs across the state as part of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

He was one of eight people standing for five positions and received the most first-preference votes.

Dr Ravi has worked in general practice for more than 20 years across Australia and the UK. He understands the everyday issues that matter to GPs and their patients.

His focus will include less red tape, stronger local practices, better aged care and digital health tools that truly help patients and doctors.

The whole Springfield Doctors team is incredibly proud of him and looks forward to seeing the difference he makes for general practice across Queensland.💙

When was your blood pressure last checked?

High blood pressure often does not cause obvious symptoms, which is why a check can matter even when you feel well.

A GP can review your reading alongside your health history and other risk factors, then discuss whether monitoring, further checks or a management plan is appropriate.
