🤍 **A little reminder to be gentle with yourself and others.**
Today, on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, I’m thinking of all the families whose journeys to parenthood have looked different from what they imagined.
Pregnancy, parenthood and the road to having a family can hold so many emotions — joy, gratitude, heartbreak, hope and grief.
As a mum of two, I’m incredibly grateful for my children. But today is also a reminder that not everyone’s journey has been straightforward, and for some, this day carries a sadness that words can’t fully express.
Behind every story is a person, a family, and sometimes a loss that others may never know about.
So today, let’s be a little kinder. Check in on someone. Listen without trying to fix things. Give people space to feel whatever they’re feeling.
And remember, we never truly know what someone else is carrying. 🤍
To anyone who has experienced pregnancy or infant loss, your baby matters, your grief matters, and your story matters. You are remembered today and always. 🕊️
Hold your loved ones a little closer, and be gentle with yourself. 💗
