Ingrown toenails can be painful, swollen, and even infected 😖 — but the good news is, they’re completely treatable.

👣 What causes them?
• Improper nail cutting
• Tight shoes
• Trauma to the toe
• Naturally curved nails

🔍 What we did:
This patient had a recurring ingrown toenail causing pain and inflammation. We performed a minor surgical procedure to remove the affected nail edge and prevent it from growing back.

💡 Did you know?
Ingrown toenail surgery is:
✔️ Quick (usually under 1 hour)
✔️ Done under local anaesthetic
✔️ Highly effective with low recurrence

🌿 Recovery:
Most patients can return to normal activities within a few days (with proper care).
