A candid pic of me this afternoon after listening to my own recording of a session I did this week ☺️ nice way to end the week if I do say so myself 🤓

Anyways friends, I’m stepping off social media for the month of June. A conscious pause from distraction and expectation (I’m no influencer but why does this app have that pull to be here constantly?!)

Heading into a deeper dive into new practices and all the favourites. Moving away from the scroll and the constant pull outward. Less noise, less urgency, more depth and more connection.

I’m still here teaching and guiding in my little space made for slowing down and a calm place to land!

Come find me 🙇🏻‍♀️ Message to book on 0416 228 448.

PS interested in the recording let me know I’ll try and get it to you!

Comfort is the only requirement for deep rest. We take our time, adjust any props, and let the body be fully supported.

Bolster under the knees, eye pillow, blanket, socks. Whatever helps you settle into stillness. Because it’s in stillness softening becomes possible, in the body, the mind, our energetic layer.

When you land in that sweet spot of rest notice what arrives first, the urge to fidget, the to-do list, or the drop into sleep.

All of this is part of the unwinding. Rest is not a luxury. It’s how we return to ourselves, to rebuild our capacity. To remember what ease feels like. To come home to our own quiet.

Find the time. Take the time. Just rest.

Feeling a bit stagnant! A slower exhale changes everything.

Slow breath in through the nose and slow breath out through the mouth. Let the aaaahhhh be audible or soft. Try not to rush it though, body takes its time to respond to the intention of this falling away and letting go of what is being held.

Give it a go!

Pause and Breathe 🧘‍♀️

Find your word 💜

Slow inhale.
Slow exhale and silently note your word.

Thoughts will arise, just acknowledge and return to your breath and your chosen word on your exhale. No matter how many times you have to. Just keep returning to your anchor.

Bringing your attention to the breath and silently repeating a positive word on the exhale breaks the autopilot we can find ourselves in and creates a pause. That pause may be enough to soften the body, clear a little space in the mind, and help you come back to yourself instead of being pulled along by the day!

Find the time.

Sunday Reflections 💜

What went well this past week?

What is the biggest challenge you are facing right now?

What is one small shift you can make to create more energy that lights you up?

What do you need to stop doing and start doing?

Be honest: No need to judge for all we experience is valid! Life!
Go deeper if you are ready: If a prompt triggers an emotion, explore why.
Review: Re-read your answers to find patterns or themes.

Be patient, be kind.

Find the time.

Witnessing, observing, not just a technique to be learned, it is your nature.

Try not to chase quiet, when we stop chasing quiet is just there, ever present, always.

A reminder to focus on your breath today, the bridge between body and spirit.

The nostrils, are a gateway to the breath. A stable companion to keep you focussed and present on this very moment.

Feel the cool air as it enters.
Feel the change of temperature as the breath leaves.
Feel the nostrils flare a little when you inhale.
Then soften as you breathe out.
Feel the tempo of your breath finding its way in and out of the body.

Let that be all you need right now.

Find the time.

Give your body a few minutes to shift before stillness.

A few gentle micro movements or poses (sukshma vyayama) can help release the tightness that builds from the day. As the body unwinds, the breath slows down and deepens, the mind quietens, and sitting becomes something you ease into rather than force.

Movement prepares you for stillness.

Meditation can begin before you close your eyes.

Sometimes we drift off in rest and relaxation.
If your body wants to slip into slumber, let it. That’s your brain asking for the rest it hasn’t been getting.

When we’re tired, the system will take any chance it can to repair and reset.

The practice still works. No need to be hard on yourself, remember rest is part of the work!

Deep Rest and Relaxation sessions available! DM to book or any questions!

My reset breath practice this week!

I’ve been feeling a little scattered and restless and this helped me get out of my head and into my body.

A chance to reconnect with body and breath. To take a moment when I needed. All we need is our breath and a few minutes.

Give it a go and let me know how it felt!

PS I forgot to turn off my background music before recording! Big thanks to for those Deep Trance Shamanic Drum beats that were there for my movement practice today!
