If anyone is wondering why our wonderful Dr Eva isn’t at the practice today — she’s swapped the consulting room for the university! 🩺🎓

Dr Eva is volunteering as a Medical Examiner for the University of Wollongong, helping assess and support the next generation of doctors.

We’re very proud to see her giving her time and experience to medical education. 👏

Today I spent my day volunteering at the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Medicine. I was assigned as an Exam Assessor’s for the Phase 4 students. Wishing them all luck with their transition from being students to finally getting their degree and entering the big wide world of doctoring and medicine/ surgery.

Healthy Hearts Program

Nurse Jessica has joined our team for the next 12 months and will be working on the Healthy Hearts project.

You may receive a telephone call from Jessica if she identifies you as suitable for the program.

The program is a lifestyle management project to try and reduce cardiovascular disease with close monitoring and follow up to reach your goals.

We welcome Jessica and look forward to working with her to improve our communities heart health.

National Palliative Care Week 11th-17th May

When we think of palliative care, we often think of our loved ones, friends, and neighbours who are acutely unwell and approaching the end of life.

Never Miss a Beat - Heart Week 4th May to 10th May

Heart Week 2026 in Australia runs from May 4–10, focusing on the theme "Never miss a BEAT" to urge Australians, especially those 45 and over to book a Medicare-subsidised Heart Health Check with their GP.

Led by the Heart Foundation, this campaign aims to improve cardiovascular health, promote healthy lifestyle changes, and prevent heart disease, which remains a leading cause of death.
