As part of the federal government's women's health package, people in Australia will now have better access to endometriosis care. New endometriosis clinics open nationwide allow patients to receive an appropriate diagnosis, treatment, and pain management sooner.

Clinicians are provided with further training alongside expanded education resources for patients, families and carers. With plans to also address peri- and menopausal care, this is a meaningful step toward closing the diagnostic gap at a large scale.
