I am 50 years old and I have been a Kinesiologist longer than I haven’t. Fully qualified and registered just over 26 years now and my first experience of Kinesiology was 31 years ago. I have gone on to study beyond my diploma of Kinesiology in other areas that interested me and completed a Cert 4 in Business Management. I am also a registered mentor with both Australian Kinesiology Associations. I bring ALL of my professional experience & expertise to my work.
What I don’t talk a lot about and is just as important is my personal experience that I bring into my work. Both my professional and personal experience comes together to potenise the work.
I am a mother of 2 amazing teenage children, 19 & 16, but my journey to become a mother has had its challenges. I’ve had 5 pregnancies, 2 miscarried and 1 born early and passed away - his name was Phoenix and he would have been 13 over the weekend just passed.
Health wise I’ve moved through chronic fatigue twice, a fractured skull from a fall as a child and bladder cancer when I was 18.
I bring all of this embodied living and experiencing to supporting my clients. I see you in your light and in your darkness. I can sit with you in your grief, your falling apart, your complexity AND I can celebrate your blossoming, your growth and you finding your inner compass. Rebecca xx
