Across from Norwest Private Hospital inside the Bond Building, our team of experienced physiotherapists and occupational therapists can help manage upper‑limb injuries and conditions with assessment, splinting, exercise and rehabilitation, prioritising nonsurgical treatment where appropriate.

A common misconception, "mother's thumb" or "mum's wrist" only impacts the strong women we call "Muuuuuuuuuuummm" in our lives.

Whilst we certainly see a lot of mums in for De Quervain's Tenosynovitis at The Hands Physio, lifting a child isn't the sole cause of De Quervain's related visits.

New mums and young professionals who present with pain on the thumb side of their wrist when lifting their baby, gripping their phone, opening jars, lifting a kettle or with typing, we might be talking to you!
