People are like portals
When I meet them
I journey into their spiral
As deep as they are willing to open🫀
& together we remember
Parts of ourselves we forgot existed
Parts of our hearts returning home
In this depth, we feel whole

Two spirals united
Joining forces
Twirling in two directions
Like DNA 🧬 helixes
with love being the atoms
that attach us together forever
no matter the magnitude
of space between us

when the time comes to continue
on the journey of life alone
Though, We are never truly alone
once the bond has been made
