At Embolden Kids, we understand that the journey to reading can be challenging, but you can empower your little one every day! Here’s how you can integrate reading into your routines at home:

1. Sound It Out: As you read together, emphasize the sounds of letters and blend them into simple words. For example, when you see the word ‘cat’, stretch the sounds: “c-a-t”.

2. Use Everyday Moments: Turn mundane tasks into learning opportunities! Point out letters and words on street signs, food packages, or labels. Make it a scavenger hunt!

3. Play with Rhymes: Incorporate rhyming books into your reading selection. Rhymes help kids hear different sounds and make connections between words. Try saying a word and asking them to find a rhyming word!

4. Celebrate Small Wins: Every time your child recognizes a letter or blends a word, cheer them on! Positive reinforcement goes a long way in building confidence.
