🌑 LUNAR ECLIPSE CEREMONY 🌑
Friday 28 August | 6:30–8:00pm

Under the energy of the Lunar Eclipse, we gather in the shala for an evening of ceremony, mantra, sound and stillness.

A space to turn inward.
To release what has run its course.
To sit with the fire.
To open the heart.
And to listen deeply.

✨ Cacao Ceremony
🔥 Sacred Fire Ceremony
🕉 Kirtan & Mantra
🌙 Yoga Nidra
✨ Crystal Bowl Sound Healing

We will close the evening resting in Yoga Nidra, held within the vibrations of the crystal bowls — allowing the body to soften, the mind to become quiet, and the practice to settle deeply within.

Kirtan this Friday 🪷🎶

Come and join us for a beautiful evening of Kirtan, mantra and sacred sound this Friday 21 August, 6:30–8pm.

We’ll gather together, sing some of our favourite mantras, play music and simply enjoy being together in the energy of Kirtan. 💚

You don’t need to know the mantras or be able to sing — just come as you are. You can join in, listen, sit quietly, or sing your heart out. ✨

Tonight in the shala 🌑🔥

On the eve of the Total Solar Eclipse, we gathered for an evening of Yin Yoga, Sankalpa, crystal bowl sound healing and fire ceremony.

A practice of pratyāhāra — drawing our awareness away from the noise of the outer world and returning inward.

Through stillness, breath and sound, we created space to observe what is ready to be released. Old patterns. Attachments. Stories we no longer need to carry.

And into that space, we planted sankalpa — a heartfelt intention for the path ahead.

The fire became our offering.
The crystal bowls carried us deeper into stillness.
And together, we returned to the heart.

Tonight feels like a reminder that transformation does not always require us to do more.

Sometimes it asks us to become still enough to listen.

To release.
To soften.
To begin again. 🌑

I have written more deeply about this in my latest letter from The Path of Anahata — reflections on sādhana, saṃskāras, svādhyāya and the path of undoing. Link 🔗 in bio.

Every lineage is carried through relationship.

Today we spent the day photographing the Five Element Form and capturing moments of teaching, learning and practice together.

The deepest teachings are rarely passed on through words alone. They are shared through years of practice, observation, trust and presence.

I’m deeply grateful to walk this path beside Peter—continuing to learn, teach, laugh and grow together.

I can’t wait to share more from today’s beautiful shoot, and to welcome a group of students into our Five Element Form Immersion this September.

Forever a student.

Peter always closes his classes with the words Hari Om Tat Sat—a timeless reminder of the Divine Truth that lives within us all.

One of his beautiful teachings is:

“You are a divine spirit, so choose to treat yourself and others divinely.”

A simple invitation to bring more kindness, compassion and awareness into the way we live, both on and off the mat.

See you on the mat.

Tonight is Pūrṇimā.

Every full moon, I return to the fire to release what no longer serves me and remember what truly matters.

Tonight I’ve shared a personal reflection, “A Letter Beneath the Full Moon,” on my Substack.

I’d love for you to read it. ✨

Our lives are shaped not only by what happens to us, but by how we choose to respond.

Yoga teaches that we are not bound by the stories of our past. With awareness, courage and an open heart, we can begin writing a new chapter—one rooted in presence rather than habit.

Every breath is an opportunity to begin again.

What story are you choosing to write?

The Dance of Shiva and Shakti.

In Hatha Yoga, Ha represents the Sun — Shiva, pure awareness.

Tha represents the Moon — Shakti, the dynamic force of life itself.

The journey of yoga is the meeting of these two forces within ourselves.

Join us for an experiential exploration of the Dance of Shiva and Shakti through the chakra system.

What is Anahata Yoga?

More than a style of yoga, Anahata Yoga is a path of self-discovery, balance and Union.

In our classes we often speak of the Dance of Shiva and Shakti — awareness and energy, stillness and movement.

When these forces come into harmony, the qualities of the heart naturally arise: love, compassion, acceptance and connection.
