Welcome, Spring.

According to Ayurveda, the changing seasons are an important time to pause, observe and adapt.

Spring is associated with Kapha dosha, which carries qualities of heaviness, moisture, coolness and stability. As we move out of winter, these qualities can become more pronounced in the body and mind.

You may notice this as:
🌿 Feeling more sluggish or heavy
🌿 Increased congestion or mucus
🌿 Changes in digestion
🌿 Seasonal allergies
🌿 Feeling like you need a fresh start

Ayurveda encourages us to work with the season rather than against it.

Spring is traditionally a beautiful time to introduce more lightness into our routines — through nourishing, lighter foods, warming spices, movement, fresh air and supporting healthy digestion.

It’s not about restriction or forcing the body to change.
It’s about creating the right conditions for renewal, balance and vitality.

And perhaps there’s a reason we naturally feel drawn to spring cleaning at this time of year…

Sometimes the body is ready for a little clearing too.

Cumin….

In Ayurveda, cumin is traditionally valued for its ability to support agni — our digestive fire — and is often used to help support healthy digestion and absorption.

Cumin is considered warming, light and balancing, and has traditionally been used particularly when there is sluggish digestion, bloating or a feeling of heaviness after eating.

But Ayurveda is always about context. The same herb or spice won’t necessarily be right for everyone, and how we use it depends on our individual constitution, digestion, season and current state of balance.

This is one of the things I love about Ayurveda — it encourages us to become curious about our bodies rather than simply following a list of universal rules.

Food is medicine, but Ayurveda teaches us that the medicine is often in understanding what is right for you.

When was the last time you took care of yourself? I mean, really took care of yourself.

Ayurveda is about taking care of yourself as a whole. It’s about understanding you as a whole person — your body, mind, digestion, energy, lifestyle and the unique rhythms of your life.

VIDA consultations are an opportunity to slow down, be listened to and explore what may be sitting out of balance, with simple and personalised guidance to support you from where you are right now.

VIDA treatments offer another way to pause and receive — to nourish the body, settle the nervous system and create space for deep rest.

Whether you’ve been feeling called to make a change, are moving through a period of imbalance, or simply want to give yourself some dedicated time and care, we would love to welcome you into the clinic.

Bookings are now open via the link in our bio.

One of the most beautiful things Ayurveda teaches us is that small, consistent choices can have a profound impact on how we feel.

You don’t need to completely change your life to support your wellbeing.

Sometimes it can be as simple as:

• Eating your biggest meal when your digestion is strongest — around midday.

• Choosing warm, freshly prepared foods when your digestion feels sluggish or sensitive.

• Taking a few moments to pause before eating, rather than rushing into your meal.

• Going to bed and waking at relatively consistent times.

• Drinking warm water throughout the day rather than constantly reaching for cold drinks.

• Paying attention to how different foods, routines and environments actually make you feel.

Ayurveda is not about following a rigid set of rules. It’s about developing a deeper relationship with your body and learning to notice what supports balance — and what doesn’t.

Your body is constantly communicating with you.

The practice is learning to listen.

Still feeling deeply grateful for the beautiful days we shared during the AGNI Protocol Retreat.

Thank you to everyone who opened their hearts, trusted the process and brought their presence, curiosity and beautiful energy into our shared space. What we created together will stay with me for a long time.

And this is not goodbye… 🌿

We will meet again in 2028 for the next AGNI Protocol Retreat.

The Agni Protocol was everything I could have imagined and more.

I’m going to sit with this one for a few days before I share more, because I feel like there is so much to take in and reflect on. 🤍

For now, I just want to say how incredibly grateful I am.

Grateful to have facilitated this experience alongside such incredible teachers and experts, who shared their knowledge, wisdom and passion so generously.

And grateful to our beautiful guests, who showed up with such openness and curiosity and truly soaked up every piece of wisdom, every experience and every moment.

There is something so special about creating a space where people can slow down, learn, connect and simply receive.

My heart feels very full.

More reflections to come soon.
