Furthermore Sunbury Physiotherapy Clinic is a Quality Endorsed Practice and has been since 1998. This is a voluntary undertaking that allows a professional accrediting body (AGPAL) to scrutinise our processes to ensure the highest quality standards in clinical practice are adhered to and to promote excellence in all aspects of physiotherapy care provision. Our physiotherapists are dedicated to keeping abreast of all the latest developments and research through participation in regular professional development in line with our commitment to quality improvement and in being the leader in physiotherapy service provision. We also place a strong emphasis on preventative health care with an aim to stop injuries from occurring in the first place and preventing their recurrence. Good communication is imperative for a good health outcome - and our physiotherapists are very ready to answer any of your questions or address any concerns – just ask!

Welcome Natalie! 👋 ✨️

We’re excited to introduce Natalie to the Sunbury and Gisborne Physiotherapy team.
Natalie is passionate about helping active people recover from injury, restore strength and mobility, and return to doing what they love. 🏃‍♀️⚽️💪
She has a strong background in sports and injury rehabilitation, with experience working alongside athletes at the City West Falcons VNL and Melbourne Victory Youth Academy.

Natalie enjoys supporting:
💪 Active individuals
👧 Children and adolescents
⚽️ Athletes returning to sport
🦵 People with hip injuries and hip-related concerns

Outside of work, Natalie is a busy mum and active football player, giving her a great personal understanding of balancing sport, recovery, family life and wellbeing.

We’re excited to welcome Natalie to the Sunbury and Gisborne Physiotherapy team! 👋
Natalie is passionate about helping active people recover from injury, rebuild confidence, and return to doing what they love. She provides individualised physiotherapy care with treatment plans focused on restoring strength, mobility, performance, and long-term physical health.

Natalie has a strong background in sports and injury rehabilitation, with experience working alongside athletes in high-performance environments, including the City West Falcons VNL and Melbourne Victory Youth Academy. These roles have given her valuable insight into the physical demands of sport and the importance of effective, goal-focused rehabilitation.

She also enjoys working with children and adolescents, supporting them through injury recovery, physical development, and return to sport. Natalie has a particular interest in treating hip injuries and hip-related concerns, as well as supporting active people with performance improvement and injury prevention.

Outside the clinic, Natalie is a busy mum and active football player, giving her a personal understanding of the challenges of balancing life, sport, recovery, and wellbeing.

Natalie will be consulting at Sunbury Monday to Friday and at Gisborne Medical Centre on Tuesday afternoons.

✅⏱️ Injury prevention only works when it actually gets done
There are some excellent injury prevention programs out there — but a program only helps if it becomes part of the routine.
In community and junior sport, training time is limited, coaches are busy, and it can be easy for warm-ups and prevention work to get skipped. But consistency matters. A shorter program done regularly is far better than a perfect program that never really happens. 💡
That’s why practical, realistic injury prevention is so important.

Many people assume injuries are just part of sport — but that’s not always true.
Research shows that well-designed injury prevention programs can significantly reduce the risk of common injuries, especially around the knees and ankles. Simple things like strength work, balance training, landing control and sport-specific warm-ups can make a real difference. ✅
For women and girls in sport, the right preparation matters. Whether it’s football, netball, running, basketball or general activity, building strength and control can help reduce injury risk and support long-term participation. 🙌
Prevention doesn’t need to be complicated — but it does need to be done consistently.
