26/08/2026

There is no such thing as the perfect mum, birth, partner, friend.

Perfection is a myth

You only need to be a good enough mother, friend and partner.

We are trying to teach our kids it’s ok to make mistakes and they are a great way to learn.

What mistakes have you made in motherhood that you have really learned from?

Is there anyone else you recommended that helped you that might help other mums?

What does Self-care look like for me?

I need to make sure I keep my self-care in check so I can keep up with my family.
I’m only just learning to try to put myself first so I can keep this boat a float.

Please comment below on any tips you have as hopefully it might help a fellow mum out in the depths of parenthood.

- Regular workouts (focusing on flexibility, strength and balance)
- Sauna
- Meditation
- Connection voice notes with friends
- Getting in the sun and going to the beach
- Hugging the girls and breathing them in Especially in the challenging times
- Music bowls
- Massage
- Try to reduce my sugar (this one I such at)
- Make sourdough and try new recipes as my creative outlet
- When all else fails listening to old EDM or R an B
- reality TV (don't judge me)

Motherhood can be incredibly lonely. It can shake up everything we thought we knew about ourselves.

But there is such beauty that is unfolding — in meeting the new version of you.

The deciding of which parts of your old self you want to carry forward and which part of yourself you will put on hold or leave behind.

I’m here to support that matressance process, and to help create space for you to feel strong, nurtured, and hopefully less alone.

What helped you on you feel less lonely on your Matressance Journey?

My “why” has evolved so much since starting out in this world. I have come to realize my role is not to rescue, but to walk alongside — to help women and their families feel supported in whatever choices feel right for them.

Whether they choose to birth in a hospital, at home, with all the interventions, or none at all — my job is to make sure they feel seen, heard, and empowered every step of the way.

As a massage therapist, I meet so many expectant mums who just need a safe space to land. Sometimes I’m not there at their birth, but I’m part of your village. I’m there to help you reconnect to what feels good in their bodies, in their hearts, in their choices.

Birth and postpartum doesn’t have to look one certain way. It might not be a water birth. It might not include breastfeeding. It might be a planned caesarean or something totally different.

What matters most to me is that women feel supported in making the decisions that are right for them — and that they come out the other side of birth feeling held, not alone.

How often to get a massage?

- There is no limit on how many massages but there has been a systematic review that
shows women have had benefits during their pregnancy for mother and baby

- When can I start and when should I stop getting a massage?

With the right provider you can have a massage throughout your pregnancy.

And You can keep getting a massage right up and during labour and post partum as long as you don’t have any medical contraindications.

Refer to my website for FQAs about
contraindications.

Happy mother's day 💐

Thinking of everyone Ive had the fortune to witness on their motherhood journeys.

Today I'm grateful for the hand made gifts.

The early morning cuddles

The request to go to the park 😅

The request for snacks

As I know this life is only short so I'm trying to slow it down right now x
