Our why. 🤍

At The Pelvic Health Physio, our “why” has always been simple.

To create a space where our community can feel heard, supported and empowered with evidence-based care.

To have the conversations others are too embarrassed to start.

To remind you that leaking, pain or pelvic floor concerns are common-but they aren’t something you have to simply live with.

And to build a community where women cheer one another on through every season of life.

Because when women are supported, educated and empowered, incredible things happen. 💛✨

Come spend a pretty typical Monday with me as a working mum 🤍

Some days are organised... and most days I’m running on coffee, sleep deprivation, household sickness and hoping the sleep training kicks in soon. 😅

Between motherhood and running a business, while somehow remembering to take care of myself too, I’m constantly reminded that this season won’t last forever. 🤍

The best part? Getting to spend days surrounded by the most incredible women. Our team, our patients and our community remind me every single day just how capable and inspiring women really are.

So here’s your little Monday reminder: you can do hard things.🤍 Whatever season you’re in right now, we’re over here cheering you on every step of the way. 💛✨

Nervous about your first pelvic health appointment? You're not alone; these are the questions almost everyone asks before they book.

Here's what you need to know:
🤍What do they do? Every appointment starts with a chat about your history, symptoms and goal, nothing happens without you knowing what's next.
🤍Is it awkward? We get it, it can feel that way going in. But our job is to make you feel comfortable, informed, and in control the whole way through.
🤍Internal exam? Not always necessary, and never without your consent. We'll always explain what it involves and check in with you first.
🤍What to wear? Comfortable, easy-to-move-in clothing. Think of it like a regular physio session.
🤍Do I need a referral? Nope! You can book straight in with us, no GP referral required.

Still have questions? Send us a DM or give us a call, we're happy to talk you through it before you even book.

Good gynaecological care does not stop at the consulting room. Dr George works closely with the team at The Pelvic Health Physio so patients get connected, whole-person support.

Pelvic floor physiotherapy plays an important role in managing a wide range of conditions and is often recommended alongside surgical or medical treatment.

For women living with pelvic pain, the physio team provides thorough, sensitive assessment and personalised treatment for conditions including endometriosis, painful in*******se, bladder pain and chronic pelvic pain. Treatment can involve gentle hands-on therapy, pelvic floor relaxation and breathing techniques, movement rehabilitation and education to help you understand and manage your pain.

If Dr George has recommended surgery, pelvic floor physiotherapy can support both your preparation and your recovery. Beforehand the team can help you feel informed and ready. Afterwards they work within Dr George's guidelines to support your healing and guide you back to movement at a pace that is right for you.
