We are a creative enterprise for people with a disability or mental illness to express themselves and contribute to their local community. Our goal is to provide a safe and productive space for people to enjoy regular workshops with the hope that they can eventually make their own money and contribute someway to the community. Workshops include but not limited to; Theatre classes, woodwork, Art, c

ooking, job interview preparation, friendship events, fitness classes, yoga/meditation, music therapy, printmaking, small business training, work experience, art exhibitions, furniture restoration, candle-making, fashion design, sewing, ceramics, social events and upcycling / repurposing items to reduce landfill and negative effects on the environment.

What a day! ☀️ 🎤

On the 15th July, we had a change in location for TAC’s Got Talent. We headed down to the park at Kings Beach Amphitheatre to jam out and enjoy a free community lunch. The day was all about celebrating community, confidence and having a go!

With live performances, singing, dancing and plenty of laughs, everyone came together for an afternoon filled with fun and connection. The event also gave us a chance to be part of the Kings Beach in the Park celebrations, where the community enjoyed a picnic, entertainment, and a special visit from Bluey and Bingo.

From sharing lunch and meeting new people to cheering on every performer, the day was a fantastic reminder of what makes our community so special. A big thank you to everyone who performed, supported, volunteered and helped make the event one to remember.

Our very first ManLife Trivia Night was a huge success! 🎉

With 30+ legends joining us, the night was packed with laughs, friendly competition and plenty of team spirit. We kicked things off with Human Bingo before diving into general knowledge, a music speed round, and the crowd-favourite Best & Worst game.

A massive shoutout to our epic hosts, and to everyone who helped create the trivia questions during our ManLife sessions. And of course, the 12 pizzas arriving at halftime kept everyone fuelled for the final rounds!

The atmosphere was unreal, and the feedback has been incredible. Safe to say... this won’t be our last Trivia Night.

GirlGang might just be in their rock era! 🤙🏽✨

One week, we were at The Ability Collective painting kindness rocks and spreading a little love throughout our community. The next, we spent the afternoon at Opals Down Under, fossicking for opals, gemstones, and fossils while exploring some of the Sunny Coast’s hidden treasures.

Two very different sessions, but both all about getting out, trying something new, creating connections, building confidence, and enjoying time together.

Grease is the Word! 🎭

What started as a theatre session has turned into one of the biggest and boldest things TAC has ever done.

This December, Grease is taking over Mountain Creek State High School’s Performing Arts Theatre for two shows - bringing together music, dancing, friendship, confidence, and a whole lot of fun in a fully inclusive community production.

Created through TAC’s StageAbility program, the show has grown from a small idea into something truly special. Cast members have been rehearsing twice a week at Meridan Community Church, learning choreography, building performance skills, making friendships, and stepping outside their comfort zones in the best possible way.

For many performers, this is their first time being part of a full-scale musical production — and the excitement is contagious.

From singing and acting to backstage laughs and dance rehearsals, Grease has become so much more than a show. It’s become a space where people feel confident, included, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

Grease hits Mountain Creek State High School’s Performing Arts Theatre on Saturday 5th December at 6pm, and Sunday 6th December at 1pm, and trust us - you won’t want to miss it.
