Under Your Birth Tree

Under Your Birth Tree Home birth Doula and
Clinical Hypnotherapist specialising in grief and loss (misscarriage, abortion and sillbirth) and Birth trauma. Hello
My name is Esther.

" I alchemise hypnotherapy with somatic therapy and sexology as our bodies minds and souls are deeply interconnected." Named after Ishtar the Goddess of love beauty justice and power, and Queen Esther in the Christian Bible as powerful defender of the people. I am resident of the Glass house mountains Sunshine Coast. I am an Ex Nurse and Ex student midwife of 2 years. I left the medical system bec

ause it frightened and concerned me deeply how quickly and willingly, and also unconsciously, women give their power away to medical professionals. It has always been my dream to support women to empower themselves and to do this as a home birth- birth worker, who has many other tools to support women also. It is my honour to serve my community of powerful women as not only a home birth Doula, but also a clinical Hypnotherapist specialising in grief and loss (misscarriage, abortion and sillbirth) and Birth trauma.

80% of BIRTHING women experience birth trauma. If that doesn't say that something is wrong with the system them I don't know what will. I alchemise hypnotherapy with somatic therapy and sexology as our bodies minds and souls are deeply interconnected, and this has been proven on many multi levelled clinical trails to date. I work as a witness and a guide, providing tools along the way for you to add to your own toolbelt of life experience and knowledge that you come with. And walk the earth and underworld with you, witness you and support you rising from the depths of the darks as the phoenix you are. Healing from trauma takes courage. It is an honour to support such powerful women. It takes courage to take charge of your reproductive health, pregnancy and birth. Again. I am deeply honoured to support such powerful, creative and strong women. "As women we are the weavers of the future. Nothing exists without us. We are powerful creatressess. "

"We spend our lives trying, and chasing to be attractive, desirable, and wanted. Yet in the process, we lose contact with the very thing that creates desire in the first place: Sensation. Desirability is a whole other subject (Wanting others to desire us)...

The body cannot be felt from a distance. It must be inhabited. Embodied. Desire asks for presence. The mind offers its Drury responsibility laden commentary. Embodiment tools bring us back into our bodies so that we can experience desire through our senses, and allow eros to flow, and arousal to build. "

"People chase novelty and newness, without realising how much novelty exists inside one human being.

I'm a strong advocate for monogamy.
Not because I believe one person can meet every need.
Not because I think it's the only way to love.
But because I think most people radically underestimate how much a human being can change.
Spend 5+ years with someone.
And you won't love one person.
You'll love ten or more.
The ambitious version.
The broken version.
The grieving version.
The version that loses everything.
The version that finds themselves again.
The version that finally softens.
The version that finally learns how to give love, and receive it.
The great irony is that many people chase novelty and newness outside of the relationship, while lying beside an unfolding mystery.
They become experts in who their partner used to be.
And strangers to who they are becoming.
To me, monogamy is not the absence of novelty.
It is a devotion to discovery.
A willingness to keep meeting the same soul through different seasons.
Again. And again. And again.
There is a depth of intimacy available when two people choose to witness each other's evolution over decades.
It doesn't mean it's easy!
It's actually asking us to do something profoundly uncomfortable:
To let go of yesterday's version of the person we love (To forgive and change our perspectives).
And fall in love with who is standing before us today."

"The Mind and Emotions in the Bedroom...
Does it need to get in the way?

Life moves through us as breath, sensation, longing, tears, laughter and desire. The more tightly we grip experience with the mind, the more elusive it becomes. The more deeply we inhabit the body, the more life reveals its own intelligence."

Life touching itself, expressing itself, delighting in itself through a thousand sacred forms, from the low ache in our belly where all pleasure and creation stirs like a low hum.

Sensuality is not an indulgence but a devotion to experience itself.

Creation emerges from the same source. The rose opening to morning light. The signature on paper for the deal just negotiated. A poem finding its way onto the page.

As both a Birth Worker and a Somatic Sexologist, I have come to see and believe that the root chakra is less about survival and more about relationship. Relationship to life and the body. The root chakra shapes our relationship with our body, our sexuality, our babies, our partnerships, our businesses, our sense of belonging, and life itself.

Every labour, every act of intimacy, every conception journey eventually arrives at the same threshold: Trust. Not blind faith kind of trust. Embodied trust. The kind that emerges when we learn to remain present in uncertainty rather than trying to control it.

It can feel HEEEAAAVVVVYYY as we learn to embody this. Sometimes we need to experience sustained grief and dissatisfaction, as a teacher and an invitation to embody trust and learn to trust ourselves in times of uncertainty. HELLO 2026 - anyone else?

In the birthing room, I have witnessed and supported women discover this ancient wisdom that exists beyond thinking. In conversations around intimacy, I have witnessed people reconnect with parts of themselves they thought were lost. Reconnect with relationships and intimacy after childbirth they thought were lost.

And in the stories of spirit babies, I am often reminded that creation begins long before a child enters the world. The root chakra teaches us that before we can create, receive, surrender, birth, or love, we must first answer a deeper question: Is it safe to be here?

Answering “Yes” is the transformation piece. A long, strange, surprising, polarising journey…. Bring snacks!!

Santa was cheeky with his voyerism this year. So we decided to suprise him with a gluten-free and dairy free "milk & cookies" treat. He was not happy. I think all three of us are residents of the naughty list now 😉
