Under Your Birth Tree

Under Your Birth Tree Home birth Doula and
Clinical Hypnotherapist specialising in grief and loss (misscarriage, abortion and sillbirth) and Birth trauma. Hello
My name is Esther.

" I alchemise hypnotherapy with somatic therapy and sexology as our bodies minds and souls are deeply interconnected." Named after Ishtar the Goddess of love beauty justice and power, and Queen Esther in the Christian Bible as powerful defender of the people. I am resident of the Glass house mountains Sunshine Coast. I am an Ex Nurse and Ex student midwife of 2 years. I left the medical system bec

ause it frightened and concerned me deeply how quickly and willingly, and also unconsciously, women give their power away to medical professionals. It has always been my dream to support women to empower themselves and to do this as a home birth- birth worker, who has many other tools to support women also. It is my honour to serve my community of powerful women as not only a home birth Doula, but also a clinical Hypnotherapist specialising in grief and loss (misscarriage, abortion and sillbirth) and Birth trauma.

80% of BIRTHING women experience birth trauma. If that doesn't say that something is wrong with the system them I don't know what will. I alchemise hypnotherapy with somatic therapy and sexology as our bodies minds and souls are deeply interconnected, and this has been proven on many multi levelled clinical trails to date. I work as a witness and a guide, providing tools along the way for you to add to your own toolbelt of life experience and knowledge that you come with. And walk the earth and underworld with you, witness you and support you rising from the depths of the darks as the phoenix you are. Healing from trauma takes courage. It is an honour to support such powerful women. It takes courage to take charge of your reproductive health, pregnancy and birth. Again. I am deeply honoured to support such powerful, creative and strong women. "As women we are the weavers of the future. Nothing exists without us. We are powerful creatressess. "

How can you use Embodiment tools such as sound, breath, movement, touch to get you back into your body, and back into your pleasure? Follow me or these tips.

01/07/2026

Have you noticed how instinctively your body moves, how easily the sound escapes from your mouth, and how fluid breath moves itself through you as you're making love?

Have you noticed in physiological birth (natural birth with no intervention or medication) a woman's body instinctively moves how they want:
Breathe deeply at times, and shallower at other times; Make different sounds at different times; And request touch in many different ways.

These embodiment tools come instinctually to us: Sound, breath, movement, and touch. It also speaks to the male support people in these birthing rooms, and how they instinctively want to provide and support.

THE PRESENT MOMENT CALLS US INTO OUR BODY TO FEEL WHAT NEEDS TO BE FELT.

This is Erotic Birth.
Learning to use these embodiment tools in feeling the emotions and sensations in everyday life, will in turn labour ourselves into the people we want to be, living the lives we truly want to lead.

Why does it matter?
Isn't it best to let these things lye?
That depends if you WANT love and affection.

Do you?

The quickest way way to find out is to reflect on, and journal the stories you tell yourself when you feel rejected, lonely, or hurt in relation to another person. For example " Why would such she want to date me? I'm too quiet". That is an example of a negative belief you have, that you dont deserve love and affection.

Once you see this written down, or simply acknowledging that it exists, you can start reframing it into an empowering belief- even if it feels edgy and not quite true yet. "I completely love and accept myself and my quiet stoicism. I am worthy of love". Etc.

The more you reframe and repeat the new positive empowering belief, It will become apart of your identity. And before you know it- you will no longer be pushing away love and affection. You will feel worthy of love and affection, and therefor it will come easy for you to both give and receive it.

Maternity Care Provider choices - Within the lens of Circles of Trust.

The people closest to the centre are not necessarily the most qualified. Nor are they necessarily the people we like the most. They are the people whose opinions carry the greatest weight when we are faced with uncertainty- whether we are conscious of their influence or not. The intention is to ask reflective questions about your values, preferences, education of physiological birth etc to then consciously choose who sits where in the circle, and why.

Trust is not built by qualifications alone. It is built through honesty, consistency, mutual respect, shared values, good communication, and feeling genuinely heard.
Every maternity care provider practises from within a particular framework. Their education, workplace policies, governing bodies, scope of practice, professional responsibilities, personal culture, bias, beliefs and personal experiences, and philosophy of care all shape the advice they give. It is simply recognising that every recommendation is viewed through a particular lens.
Likewise, soon to be parents bring their own lens.

None of the varying preferences or values are superior to the others. They are simply different. They inform: Who will hold and support us if something goes wrong?

Too often we choose a maternity care provider based on convenience, geography, a referral from our GP, or the assumption that there is only one pathway through pregnancy. We rarely pause to ask whether that model of care actually reflects the kind of experience we hope to have."

A Winter Solstice Reflection on The Postpartum Mother.

"Everything non-essential has fallen away.
The version of you before you became a mother is the soil from which the mother needed to grow. Just as you have given birth to a new life, you have equally birthed yourself as a new mother.

If this season feels quiet, if it feels like you have been stripped bare, it is because it is quiet, and you have been stripped bare. New identities take time to form, and right now you are forming yourself as a mother. You are learning your baby, and learning how to mother them, and how to mother yourself. It is completely normal to no longer recognise the landscape of your own life.

Please take heart, nature understands. Winter was never afraid of looking empty and feeling bare. Winter knows that the deepest transformations begin when everything we used to know, everything non essential is stripped away. You WILL form a new identity, one you will one day be proud of."
