✨ GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN AND CHANGE THE WORLD WHILE THEY’RE AT IT!

A little one-on-one catch-up for our incredible Service Coordinators, Zoey & Katie! 🫶🏼Because yes… girls just want to have fun! 😂☕️ But when these two get together, you can bet there’s a whole lot more happening than just a catch-up!

These two are PURE DYNAMITE when they’re in the same room! 💥They’re sharing ideas, experiences, challenges, wins and everything in between. They’re bouncing ideas, sharing opportunities, creating new possibilities and constantly looking at how they can grow, learn and do things even better for the people they support. 🌊✨

And THIS is exactly what we love to see at New Wave Care.

NEW WAVE CARE HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN RECOGNISED WITH A BEYOND BARRIERS AWARD!!! 🥳✨🏆🌊

A HUGE thank you to the incredible Five Bridges, Look Now Training and Peak College Australia for recognising New Wave Care as an organisation that is committed to creating opportunities, breaking down barriers and helping people build brighter, more meaningful futures.

This recognition is all about organisations that are going BEYOND BARRIERS to create equal opportunities for people facing barriers to education, training and employment. And THAT is something we are incredibly proud to stand behind. 🙌

Now… let's talk about the photos. 😂📸 Because obviously Kristin was there in her official Hype Girl capacity…Which apparently meant she was supposed to be taking ALL the photos. 🤣 Except there was one tiny problem… KRISTIN WASN'T IN THEM. So we enlisted a lovely passer-by to take the photo instead and got the Hype Girl in the frame! 📸

We are incredibly proud of this recognition and even more proud of the people, partnerships and possibilities behind it.

As we continue welcoming more incredible participants into our New Wave Care community across the Sunshine Coast, we’re looking for experienced Support Workers to join our team and help us create even more positive waves throughout our local communities.

We have MULTIPLE roles available, plenty of hours for the right people, immediate starts and buddy shifts to help set you up for success. 🙌🏼

We’re looking for Support Workers who genuinely LOVE what they do. People who understand that great support is about more than just showing up for a shift. It’s about building genuine connections, bringing positive energy, being reliable and supporting people with complex needs to live life THEIR way.

🌊 THIS COULD BE YOU IF YOU:
✔️ Have previous experience supporting participants with complex care needs.
✔️ Know how to build meaningful, trusting connections.
✔️ Bring positive energy, compassion and reliability to every shift.
✔️ Want to work somewhere that genuinely values its people, culture and doing things differently in all the right ways.
✔️ Have been watching our socials and thinking, “Yes… these are my people!”

TO JOIN OUR TEAM, YOU’LL NEED:
✔️ Minimum Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support.
✔️ Previous experience supporting participants with complex care.
✔️ Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
✔️ Current First Aid & CPR.
✔️ Current Driver’s License and a reliable, fully insured vehicle.
✔️ Have, or be willing to obtain, competencies in PEG Feeding, Manual Handling and Behaviour Support.
