We’re pleased to welcome Dr Jacinta Perram, Clinical Haematologist, to The Solace Clinic.

Dr Perram is an Australian consultant haematologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of malignant and non-malignant blood disorders.

Having completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney, Dr Perram undertook specialist training at Royal Prince Alfred, Concord and St Vincent’s Hospitals, followed by a Postgraduate Fellowship in Transplant and Cellular Therapy at Westmead Hospital. She later worked as a Staff Specialist Haematologist at St Vincent’s Public Hospital from 2022 to 2025.

Dr Perram is a dual specialist in Clinical Haematology and Haematopathology, with extensive clinical research experience and a strong clinical and academic interest in Myeloproliferative Neoplasms and related disorders.

She brings a wealth of experience to our growing specialist team and a strong commitment to coordinated, patient-centred care.

Dr Perram is now accepting referrals at The Solace Clinic in Maroochydore.

Last week we had the pleasure of officially celebrating the opening of The Solace Clinic with our team, colleagues, partners and members of the Sunshine Coast community.

It was wonderful to see so many people come together to mark this important milestone and share in the journey of bringing The Solace Clinic to life.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us on the evening and to all those who have supported the clinic along the way. It was particularly special to celebrate with our specialists, Dr Sorab Shavaksha, Dr Alice Livings and Professor James O’Beirne, and to welcome our newest team member, Dr Jacinta Perram, Clinical Haematologist, to The Solace Clinic.

We were also honoured to be joined by Day Hospital Partners Chairman Danny Sims, Mayor Rosanna Natoli and Fiona Simpson MP, and greatly appreciate their support as we begin this next chapter.

A special thank you to Perfect Practice, who brought the clinic to life through the fit out, and to The Balloon Collective and Thistle In The Woods for making the opening celebration so special with the event styling and catering.

Meet Anne-Marie, General Manager of The Solace Clinic.

Anne-Marie is an experienced Practice Manager and former Registered Nurse with nearly 30 years of experience in haematology and oncology. Her career spans clinical care and operational leadership, including establishing a new oncology unit at a private hospital in the UK.

As General Manager, Anne-Marie has overseen the establishment of The Solace Clinic from pre opening through to full operation. Her role includes managing compliance, staffing, systems and the many administrative and clinical processes required to run a busy specialist service.

Her extensive nursing background continues to shape the way she leads today. Anne-Marie brings strong clinical knowledge, practical leadership and a hands on approach to creating services that support both patients and staff.

Outside the clinic, Anne-Marie enjoys a hit on the tennis court and walking her dog, Bertie.

We’re very fortunate to have Anne-Marie leading our team at The Solace Clinic.
