💕 A heartfelt thank you to our amazing CMBCP volunteers! 💕

On Saturday, our wonderful volunteers gave their time to support the Sunshine Coast Marathon, helping check in participants and hand out race bibs ahead of race day.

With thousands of runners expected, it was no small task. From our dedicated early-morning crew who arrived bright and early, to our afternoon team who navigated an incredibly busy rush of participants, every volunteer played an important role in keeping things running smoothly.

We are so grateful for the generosity, energy and community spirit our volunteers bring to everything they do. Your willingness to give your time helps strengthen our community and supports the work we do for local people and families affected by breast cancer.

💗 Locals supporting locals this Pink October 💗

A breast cancer diagnosis can impact every part of a person's life. Through practical, emotional and financial support, the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Program helps local people during treatment and recovery.

Last year, CMBCP responded to 371 requests for assistance and provided more than $93,000 in practical support to local people affected by breast cancer.

This National Breast Cancer Month in October, we're inviting local businesses to get involved by:

🎀 Running a THINK PINK fundraiser
🎀 Donating a prize or gift bag item
🎀 Becoming a Pink Partner

✨ Preparing for Breast Surgery Workshop ✨

The Buderim Private Hospital Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Program is pleased to share this upcoming online workshop presented by Jen McKenzie from The McKenzie Clinic - Allied Health Clinic & 24/7 Gym and Natasha Jivan from the Healing Body Project .

Designed for individuals preparing for breast surgery for breast cancer or prevention, this workshop will provide practical guidance and support to help navigate the physical and emotional aspects of surgery and recovery.

💗 A $15 donation from each registration will be donated to the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Program to support local people affected by breast cancer.

Race day is almost here, and we have just a few volunteer spots remaining for the Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival on Saturday 1 August. If you're someone who values community, connection and helping others, we'd love to have you join us.

Our volunteers will be welcoming runners and assisting at the Registration Tent, helping create a positive experience for thousands of participants while supporting local people impacted by breast cancer.

💖 Every volunteer shift earns a donation for the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Program.
