Sometimes you don’t know exactly why something feels right.
You just feel the nudge.
An idea appears…
“Maybe I should do this.”
And then, of course, the mind arrives with its list. 😜
Is it sensible?
What if I regret it?
What will people think?
What if I get it wrong?
This week I followed one of those nudges and moved from Australia to Thailand a few weeks earlier than planned.
I left behind beautiful friends and people I love — so this wasn’t about running away from something.
It was simply about moving towards what felt right for me, right now.
And last night, sitting around this table celebrating my son and his friends’ birthdays, surrounded by laughter, friendship and connection, I had one of those lovely little moments of thinking…
Yes. This is where I’m meant to be today. 💜
Not forever.
Not because I have the next ten years figured out.
Just today.
I think sometimes we wait for certainty before we act.
But perhaps certainty doesn’t always come first.
Sometimes we make the decision, take the step, follow the nudge…
…and discover the meaning afterwards.
Mastering the mind isn’t about having every answer.
Sometimes it’s simply learning to trust yourself enough to take the next right step.
💜 Is there something quietly nudging you at the moment?
