Some of team Sundale had a great morning representing at the Nambour Chamber of Commerce event at the Nambour Cinema & Events Centre, bringing together local business leaders, community advocates, and changemakers to collaborate on the future of our region.

It was great to connect with Cr David Law - Division 10 and so many dedicated colleagues across the local business community. The morning offered valuable insights, including state economic priorities shared by Queensland Treasurer David Janetzki MP, and a vision for the Sunshine Coast’s future leading into the 2032 Games presented by Mayor Rosanna Natoli.

True community connection thrives when we work together to champion our region, and sharing great local hospitality makes it even better. Thank you to Walter’s Artisan Bread for keeping everyone fueled with fantastic artisan pastries and great coffee!

Special thanks to Marty Hunt MPfor facilitating the visit with David Janetzki MP, and to the Nambour Chamber of Commerce for hosting a fantastic morning of collaboration.

Sundale is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team at Bindaree Care Centre, Boyne Island on a 6-month fixed-term contract with an immediate start.

We're looking for someone who has:
✅ Experience delivering lifestyle programs, recreational activities or therapeutic recreation services, ideally within aged care
✅ Bachelor of Health Science, Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or Equivalent qualifications
✅ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✅ Creativity, initiative and a genuine passion for enhancing residents' quality of life
✅ The ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, volunteers and care teams

Sundale Coolum resident and Queensland grandfather living with MND for 29 years celebrates 90th birthday.

John Dinon has lived with motor neurone disease (MND) for almost a third of his life, making him one of the longest-surviving people with the progressive neurological condition in Australia.

The Queensland grandfather celebrated his 90th birthday last month, a milestone he and his wife weren't expecting to reach.

"He didn't think he would last that long. No, neither did I," Johanna Dinon said.

One year ago, we launched Sundale’s refreshed brand and centred everything around three simple words: feel at home.

Looking back over the last twelve months, the work of honouring that promise has been quiet, steady, and entirely driven by people; our residents, customers, their families and our dedicated team Sundale. Rebranding is easy when it lives in a design concept, but it only matters when it translates into how someone actually feels when they walk through our Sundale communities, receive the Sundale Way experience or care, or when they put on their new uniform for a shift.

Over the past year, we’ve worked hard to bring our seniors and retirement living, home care and residential care communities closer together under one clear direction. We rebuilt our digital home from the ground up, refreshed how we tell our stories, including the launch of the Sundale Life Magazine and made sure our operational decisions stayed focused on what genuinely helps our residents, customers, their families and our people every day.

Building a lasting brand isn't about marketing noise, it's about consistency. We’re deeply grateful to our frontline teams, community, employees, and our Board for turning a brand promise into something real and lived across Sundale over the past year.

One year in, and we’re really proud of how far we've come together!

Last night, Sundale was honoured to be part of Marty Hunt MP Above & Beyond Awards - celebrating the incredible people who make our community such a special place. 💙

What a privilege to shine a light on those who go above and beyond every day, making a real difference to the lives of others.

Sundale was proud to sponsor the Supporter of the Year Award, recognising six inspiring finalists who are making an impact through their support, dedication and generosity.

A beautiful highlight of the evening was seeing one of the Smart Pups Assistance Dogs proudly deliver the award envelope to Marty Hunt - a very special moment and a wonderful reminder of the incredible work Smart Pups do🐾

A huge congratulations to Denise Morcombe from Daniel Morcombe Foundation, who took home the Supporter of the Year Award! 👏

And congratulations to all six finalists - Denise Morcombe, Giving Kids Memories - Jeff Park, I’ll Take a Tribe - Beth Poole, Smart Pups Assistance Dogs for Special Needs Children, Sunshine Coast Volunteers NGH, and The Shack - Dale Dowler.

There’s a genuine groundswell of momentum building in Nambour, and it is fantastic to be right at the heart of it.

We had a wonderful morning connecting with local business leaders and community advocates at the Nambour Chamber of Commerce August coffee catch-up. A sincere thank you to our local representatives, Cr David Law - Division 10, Ted O'Brien MP - Federal Member for Fairfax and Marty Hunt MP (State Member for Nicklin), for joining the conversation and showing their ongoing commitment to our region.

Sundale’s roots run deep in Nambour. Getting out into the community to collaborate and champion a stronger, more connected local business ecosystem is what driving meaningful community connection is all about.
