🪷 Chanting a mantra 108 times together, with our handmade malas, then being silenced by the splendid colours of the sunset

🪷 Candlelit restorative yoga after dinner, while fireflies danced across the rice fields

🪷 Dancing, laughing and feeling so free under a waterfall

🪷 The privilege of being blessed by a local priest

🪷 Women literally transforming from day one to our final “see you soon” hugs

So many special moments held forever in our hearts (just to name a few)

there's a reason (many, in fact) why women return...

Let me tell you
- it's not an easy task
to cater for all levels of experience
& needs in a class

I plan, I 'read the room', I adjust where required

and I'm always pretty chuffed when
it 'lands' & everyone in the shala
is loving their practice

A very special week with such a fabulous group of women!

It’s truly a privilege to share these retreats with old & new friends 🥰

I'm always in awe of the transformation I see throughout the week

Easier breaths
Comfort in pauses
Less struggle in meditation
Greater awareness, strength & appreciation for what their bodies can do.

Most importantly, women remembering how amazing it feels to make themselves a priority.

Each arrived with unseen challenges,
& now she leaves with more clarity, self-compassion & tools to navigate life.

This is why I love what I do.

What’s so special about this island?

I honestly can’t quite put it into words.

Bali feels like a wholesome hug you didn’t realise you needed.
There’s something about the energy here that makes you slow down, breathe a little deeper & be more present.

It’s the people, the sounds, the rituals, the warmth…
All of it! You can just feel it.

And I think that’s why I keep coming back.

I’m super excited to be welcoming another enthusiastic retreat group this afternoon & sharing a little piece of this magic with them.

Each pose, each transition, each pause is an invitation to know yourself a little better.

Not just your body, but your reactions, your responses and your inner dialogue.

Yoga is so much more than moving on autopilot or rushing from one shape to the next.

And often, these are the classes where students say, “that was hard” or “that was challenging.”

Because being present asks something of us—physically & mentally.

But perhaps that's where the deepest practice begins.
