Normally we would be at our monthly meeting tonight.

Recently I spoke about different ways of managing your medication.
In times like we are currently experiencing, it's never been so important to ensure we remain compliant with our meds.

To assist you with this, talk to your Pharmacy Staff about their Medication Management Systems available. It's as simple as downloading an App, keeping your scripts on file at the Pharmacy, and you will be contacted via SMS when your repeats are due. One of these is the App, MedAdvisor. For more info, see below

For those who want the "deluxe" version. Your Pharmacy can pack your medicines into weekly/fortnightly packs, such as a Websterpack or Medication Rolls/Sachets. This service, in most cases, involves the Pharmacy ordering scripts on your behalf.

If you would like to know more about these services, feel free to ask me or your Pharmacist.

Hi there,
As you would expect, all activities including Meetings and Social Meetups have been cancelled until further notice due to you know what.

I expect this can be a worrying time for a lot of us. Especially considering social connectivity is not possible by conventional means. However, there are still various ways of remaining in touch. These include, a simple phone call, face time and other various social media communication methods. Some members are even using technology such as Zoom to have a virtual meet up.

Whatever methods you are using, I urge you to keep in touch with other members, family and friends.

If isolating is affecting you detrimentally, don't forget there are crisis numbers you can call.
Life line - 13 11 14
Beyond Blue - 1300 22 4636
The Black Dog Website- can help with information; Coronavirus : Anxiety, Stress and Wellbeing

The current climate has seen rapid change occur. It's now the new normal to meet with your Doctor, Psychiatrist and Psychologist via Skype/Video link.
Take advantage of this technology and the new way of doing things.
Stay in charge of you health !
All the best to you all, and remember, we will get through this.

Kind regards,
Peter Davis

You're invited to attend our March Bipolar Support Group Meeting.
Details are; Caloundra Community Centre, 630-830pm, Monday 2nd March.

The Discussion Topic for the night will be,

"Bipolar Type 1 and Type 2, what's the difference and how are they treated ? "

I know we have touched on this subject in the past, however, there is always something to learn.

Also, I encourage new Members especially, to come along (feel free to bring a friend/family member for support) to learn as much as possible.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

For those coming to the Dinner tonight, the chosen Restaurant doesn't open on a Monday night.

I have decided to change the venue to the Kawana Hotel, still on Point Cartwright Dr and still at 600pm.

Apologies for any inconvenience.
