Our team of GPs, nurses, a dietitian and support staff provide patient-centred general practice care for individuals and families at every stage of life, from children to older adults. Beyond everyday GP care, we offer over 20 services on-site, including women's and men's health, paediatrics and childhood immunisations, preventative health checks, skin cancer screening, travel vaccinations, on-site pathology collection, and specialised clinics such as our BRAVE Clinic for blood test anxiety and needle phobia. Open six days a week (Monday–Saturday) and located near Sutherland Station, we've been proudly serving the Sutherland Shire community for over 11 years.

🧠 Now Offering ADHD Assessment & Diagnosis at Shire Family Medical

We’re proud to introduce a new service designed to improve access to ADHD care for children and adults in our community.
Dr Katrina Mikhail is one of a select group of GPs in NSW to complete the Tier 2 Endorsed Prescriber training through the NSW Health ADHD in General Practice Program. This advanced, competency-based training enables her to assess, diagnose and initiate ADHD medication for eligible patients.
Our comprehensive ADHD assessment includes:
✔️ A detailed clinical assessment
✔️ Review of medical, developmental and behavioural history
✔️ Screening for other conditions that may impact attention and behaviour
✔️ Diagnosis where appropriate
✔️ Individualised treatment planning and ongoing support

🤧 Antibiotics aren’t the answer for every illness.
It’s common to think antibiotics will help you recover faster, but they only work against bacterial infections, not the viruses that cause most winter coughs, colds and sore throats.
