Would this give you peace of mind? 💚

We’ve been looking at adding personal alert devices to the Fig Supports range — and before we do, we’d love to know what YOU think.

For an older parent, grandparent, someone living alone, or someone who may be at risk of a fall… would having a personal alert device give you peace of mind knowing they could call for help if needed?

📍 Some devices can detect falls
📍 Some have GPS tracking
📍 Some allow the wearer to speak directly through the device
📍 And they can be worn rather than being tied to a landline or sitting on a bench.

But we want to know…

💚How wonderful to see where a journey can lead!

A huge congratulations to Maizura as she begins her Enrolled Nurse Graduate Program with Swan Hill District Health! 🩺✨

Maizura was part of the Fig Supports team for around three years. We also completed our Certificate IV in Disability together, so I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow, learn and develop her skills along the way.

It makes me incredibly proud to see her now taking this next step into nursing and continuing her career in healthcare here in our local community. 💚

It’s also a lovely reminder that support work can be the beginning of a much bigger journey. The skills, relationships, confidence and experience gained along the way can open doors to so many different paths within health and community services.

Sometimes you get to be just one small part of someone’s journey — and then you get to watch them absolutely smash what comes next. 🥹

Congratulations Maz! We’re so proud of you and wish you every success in this exciting next chapter. 💚

We are delighted to welcome our new Enrolled Nurse Graduates, who will be spending the next six months with us as they complete their Enrolled Nurse Graduate Program.

Our graduates are all local community members who have chosen to return and train within their regional health service. Their commitment to rural healthcare is evident, and we are excited to support them as they continue to grow their skills and build their nursing careers.

Please join us in wishing them every success as they begin this exciting journey with Swan Hill District Health. 💙

Jumbo July was SO popular that we couldn’t stop there… 👀

Gift certificates have been having a bit of a moment at FIG lately 💚

We’ve had quite a few heading out the door, and they’re such a handy option when you know someone would love something from FIG… but you’re not quite sure what they’d choose for themselves.

We have our lovely physical gift certificates available in store, or you can choose an eGift Card which is sent straight to the recipient’s email — no voucher to remember or carry around. They can simply show us the email when they’re ready to use it in store.

Then they can take their time, have a look around, try things, ask us questions and choose something that’s just right for them.

Sometimes the best gift is letting someone choose. 🌿

A little moment in store today… 😂

A woman was trying out the new Speks, feeling them, playing around with them and working out whether they were the right fit for her.

She handed them to the man with her and said, “Have a feel.”

His response?

“Nope. I don’t do fidget toys.” 😂

To which I replied…

“You mean fidget TOOLS.” 🤣

And that little moment is actually why we love what we do at Fig. 💚

What works for one person might not work for another. Some people love the squishy. Some need something to fiddle with. Some love the weight, texture or movement. And some people want absolutely nothing to do with any of it! 😂

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to sensory support.

That’s why we love having something for everyone at Fig. 💚

And yes… she bought the Speks. 😉

The Warmies have officially landed in store! 🥹🧸💚

I unpacked these today and honestly… OMG. SO. CUTE. 😍 They are ridiculously soft and squishy and the little faces! 🥹

And then… I opened the box. 😂

That gorgeous, fresh French lavender scent came at me like a 6-pack of sneezes 🤧😂 I was sneezing for about half an hour!

But seriously… they smell AMAZING, and once my nose settled down, I could fully appreciate just how gorgeous these are. 💜

✨ Off to the Reed Gift Fair! ✨

It’s hard to believe that this time last year we were walking the aisles of Reed Gift Fair, dreaming about a retail store that didn’t even exist yet.

Fast forward 12 months, and now we’re heading back as an established store, looking for exciting new products to bring to FIG! 💚

It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re so grateful to everyone who’s supported us along the way.
