Free virtual healthcare access for Victorian women 🩷

Some things shouldn’t take annual leave, a full tank of petrol and a four hour round trip. Like getting help for pelvic pain or advice on contraception options.

That’s exactly why the Virtual Women’s Health Clinic exists. In its first year, this free, statewide telehealth service delivered expert care to more than 850 women and girls across Victoria, no matter their postcode.

The most common reasons women reached out? Abortion care, menopause and perimenopause, pelvic pain and endometriosis, and contraception care. Sexual health testing and treatment, menstrual health, cervical screening and breast health checks too.

Faster access. No travel. No lengthy wait. Just confidential, non-judgemental care, wherever you are in Victoria.

📞 National Emergency Alert Test – Monday 27 July 2026 📞

At 2:00 pm (AEST) on Monday 27 July, most mobile phones across Australia will receive a test emergency alert as part of the rollout of the new AusAlert system.

Your phone may:
🔊 Play a loud siren-like sound (even if it’s on silent)
📳 Vibrate
📲 Display a message confirming it is only a test and that no action is required

The purpose of the test is to ensure Australia’s new national emergency alert system is working properly, so it can quickly warn people during real emergencies such as bushfires, floods and other life-threatening events.

Please don’t be alarmed if your phone sounds unexpectedly at 2:00 pm on 27 July - it is simply a nationwide test.
