Before Sophie Watts even gets to the velodrome, she’s already managing blood sugars, adjusting Activity Mode, and calculating whether she needs a lolly snake before her warm-up.

Sophie is a Queensland sprint cyclist with type 1 diabetes, a fresh PhD, and her eyes firmly on LA 2028 🥇

In Episode 90 of The Stripped Pod, she walked us through exactly what a training day looks like — the gym session, the track session, the dinner dose reduction, the pre-bed correction, and all the invisible maths that happens in between 😵‍💫
