On Saturday, 19 September, six shortlisted early-career dentists will showcase their research, ideas and lecturing ability at the Emerging Lecturer Awards: Dr Liam Cassidy, Dr Alex Chan, Dr Philip Chien, Dr Safa Jamshed, Dr Lisa Lim, and Dr Mohamad Naqeeb.

"The Emerging Lecturer Awards is one of my favourite sessions on the FED program," commented RACDS President Dr Erin Mahoney.
"It really makes me happy to see our younger Members and Fellows take to the stage at our conference."

A wonderful start to the day in Auckland at the RACDS College Breakfast!

Hosted by RACDS President Dr Erin Mahoney, the breakfast brought Fellows, Members and guests together to reconnect, share ideas and enjoy the collegiality that makes our College community so special.

We were delighted to be joined by Assistant Professor Dr Nikolai Sharkov, President, FDI World Dental Federation, Fellows Dr David Excell, President and Dr Mo Amso, CEO, New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA), and Dr Chris Sanzaro, President, and Dr Kate More, CEO of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).

RACDS Life Fellows Dr Susan Wise and Dr Hugh Trengrove were also able to join us, as was Fellow Dr Graeme Ting, Director of Training for our upcoming NZ specialist program.

Thank you to everyone for a fabulous Friday morning ahead of two great days at the NZDA Congress.
