We’re excited to welcome participants to a place where they can learn, create, stay active, and build meaningful connections in a fun, supportive environment.

Our Group Activity Centre offers:

🎨 Art & Craft Studio with painting, creative projects, puzzles, games, and hands-on activities

🪵 Woodwork & DIY workshops to build practical skills, creativity, and confidence

💻 Computer skills and digital learning

👩‍🍳 Fun cooking classes

🎵 Music & Dance Room with instruments and creative expression

🎬 Movie & entertainment room

🏋️ Fitness & Wellbeing area with gym equipment and boxing training

⚽ Outdoor soccer kicking area for fun, exercise, and skill development

🛏️ Comfortable rest room for those needing a quiet break

🌿 A calming sensory corner with sensory toys and relaxation spaces

Following our recent NDIS Mid-Term Audit, we are proud to share some of the feedback provided directly by participants, families, and nominees.

Participants consistently described ZedCare as responsive, supportive, and committed to meeting individual needs. Families and nominees spoke positively about the organisation's strong communication, responsive management team, reliable support teams, and ability to respond quickly and effectively during both routine and challenging situations, including through our 24/7 after-hours support.

The audit also highlighted strong participant confidence in our organisation, high levels of satisfaction with our services, and positive relationships between participants, families, support workers, and management.

While we remain committed to continuous improvement, we are grateful for the trust our participants, families, and stakeholders place in us every day.

From 1 July 2026, Supported Independent Living providers will be required to register with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

For participants, families and support coordinators, this change matters. SIL is not just a place to live, it is where people should feel safe, supported and respected every day.

Registration brings stronger accountability, clearer safeguards and greater confidence that providers are operating under the required NDIS Practice Standards.

If you are a support coordinator, family member, guardian or referrer, now is the time to ask:
• Is the SIL provider registered or clearly preparing for registration?
• Are they communicating their transition pathway?
• Do you feel confident in the quality, governance and responsiveness of the support being delivered?

The NDIS reform timeline is now clearer than ever.
Over the next few years, the disability sector will experience some of the most significant changes since the NDIS was introduced.

According to the Australian Government's Securing the NDIS for Future Generations timeline, key reforms include:
📌 1 July 2026
• Mandatory registration for SIL providers and platform providers
• Digital payment reforms commence
📌 1 October 2026
• Thriving Kids reforms begin
• Changes to community participation funding arrangements
📌 1 December 2026
• NDIS claiming timeframe reduces from two years to 90 days
📌 1 April 2027
• New planning framework rollout begins
📌 July 2027
• Mandatory registration expands to providers delivering personal care and daily living supports
📌 July 2028
• Support Coordination transitions to a commissioned model
These reforms will influence how services are delivered, funded, regulated and monitored across the sector.
For providers, support coordinators, participants and families, understanding these changes early is essential to ensuring continuity of support and maintaining compliance.
