Endometriosis affects everyone differently, and while many people with endometriosis conceive naturally, the condition can make it more difficult for some.

Depending on its severity and location, endometriosis may affect fertility in several ways. Scar tissue and adhesions can interfere with the fallopian tubes, inflammation within the pelvis may affect egg quality, and changes to the uterine environment may make implantation more challenging.

It's important to remember that an endometriosis diagnosis does not mean pregnancy isn't possible. Many people with endometriosis go on to achieve successful pregnancies, either naturally or with the support of fertility treatment.
