You have to try this family favourite šŸ„ž

This has to be the most simple and nourishing pancake recipe that takes a whole 2 minutes to prep then cook while you are getting ready for the day.

With 6 eggs, it is higher in protein than your typical pancake recipe. Top it with Greek yogurt and chia berry jam for added goodness (and a little maple syrup because yum šŸ˜‹). We eat these pancakes at least a few times a week in our house and they make the best (clean) snacks to take out on the go.

Try them and let me know what you think šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

One week of lunchboxes boxes down, and many MANY more to go šŸ˜…

When it comes to packing a balanced lunch box for your mini, it’s important to focus on making sure they are getting some protein, veg, unrefined carbs and healthy fats in there to fuel their learning brains and provide them with the energy they need for the day. Plus something fun of course!

Here are some lunch box ideas if you’re looking for inspo. Do my kids eat all of this? Usually not. But the moment they get home, we get the lunch boxes back out and they polish it off within minutes.

Anyone else out there struggling with all the lunch box prep that comes with school? 🫠

Our first month of solids šŸ„‘

Starting solids is mostly about exploration and introducing nutritious foods to your mini, but don’t be worried if they don’t eat much.

It is easy to get over excited with all the foods, but it is important to start slow and follow your mini’s lead with how much they want to eat. Offering food once a day is plenty in the first month to let your baby’s digestive system catch up. Even though babies have high nutrient requirements at this time, breastmilk (or formula) is still the most important meal for the first 12 months.

It is a good time to introduce some of the top allergenic foods, as research shows that early introduction can help minimise the risk of developing the allergen.

Save this post or share it with a mama who has a mini starting solids soon who might like a little extra inspo 🄦

Little life update over here šŸ¤Ž

Last year was definitely overwhelming but oh so incredible at the same time! Lots of surrendering to the chaos and enjoying the small moments.

I took the pressure off trying to do all the things that weren’t serving me, and have found postpartum mama life third time around to be very healing (even with all the challenges life throws at us).

I’ve been terrible at keeping track of everything and missed so many DM’s. I will try and get back to you all when I get a chance. But for now, I’m enjoying summer with my mini’s and I’ve accepted that I can’t do it all in this season of life šŸŒž
