At Victoria Cross Funerals, we are incredibly proud to support and collaborate with A Touch of Kindness, an organisation doing truly remarkable work for those experiencing homelessness and hardship in our community.

Victoria and Nicole, together with their families, had the privilege of joining A Touch of Kindness on their weekly outreach, witnessing firsthand the compassion, dedication and genuine care shown to every person they help. It was a truly humbling and inspiring experience for everyone involved.

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of a much-loved Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle & Friend, Evangelos Trimmis.

The viewing will be held at St Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church, 47/51 Balmoral Street, Blacktown at 6:00pm on Monday 12th October 2026.

The funeral service will also be held at St Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church, Blacktown at 10:00am on Tuesday 13th October 2026.

Following the church service, the committal will take place at St Marys General Cemetery, Great Western Highway, St Marys, Section Greek Orthodox, Grave 23.

The family would like to thank you for your warm condolences and support.

Evangelos was 71 when he passed away.
May his memory be eternal.

The funeral service of the late Stamatia Stevis will be live streamed on the Victoria Cross Funerals page, today at 10:00am.

For those who have a Facebook account: Ensure you have liked our page to receive an alert from Facebook when the streaming begins.

For those who do not have a Facebook account: The Victoria Cross Funerals page is a public page, therefore you may still live stream the service. At the commencement of the service, go to Google, type in Victoria Cross Funerals Facebook in the search bar, click on the Victoria Cross Funerals Facebook link, then scroll down the page. The live stream will be the first post you see. Click on the post and the live stream will begin..

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of a much-loved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunty & Friend, Stamatia Stevis.

The viewing will be held at St Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 26 Railway Pde, Burwood at 6:00pm on Monday 5th October 2026.

The funeral service will also be held at St Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, Burwood at 10:00am on Tuesday 6th October 2026.

Following the church service, the committal will take place at Rookwood General Cemetery, Weekes Avenue, Rookwood Section LOL F, Grave 516.

The wake will be held at the Village Functions at Rookwood, Cnr Memorial Ave & Necropolis Dr, Rookwood.
