Have you checked your breasts recently?
It takes 30 seconds to do a self breast check, by feeling the tissue around your breast and under your arms for any bumps or lumps you notice are new or unusual.
If you find anything, book in to see your doctor immediately.

Early detection and treatment is significant in improving survival rates and less invasive treatments.

Reaching out to your healthcare provider, a partner, family or a friend isn’t a sign of weakness—it is strength.
Pregnancy and the postpartum period bring some of the most profound physical, hormonal, and emotional shifts you will ever experience.
Yet, there’s often an unfair expectation to “bounce back” or handle it all in silence.
Whether you are navigating severe morning sickness, processing the raw exhaustion of newborn life, or experiencing the unexpected weight of postpartum please know you do not have to carry it alone.

Healing, whether physical recovery after birth or adjusting to motherhood, is a journey, and asking for the support you deserve is the first step. 🤍

Wondering if you could be a good candidate for a vaginal birth after your c-section (VBAC)?

While every clinical scenario is evaluated on an individual basis, research shows that certain factors strongly correlate with a higher likelihood of a successful Vaginal Birth After Cesarean.

Swipe to find out what we need to consider if this is what you’re aiming for your next delivery.

World Breastfeeding Week finishes tomorrow, but breastfeeding should be talked about all the time. This year’s theme is “Breastfeeding for a sustainable start in life: Strengthen what works” one of the most proactive ways I see expectant parents “strengthen what works” before birth is through antenatal expressing.

I encourage this from around 36 weeks gestation, especially if you might need early feeding support such as managing gestational diabetes, multiple pregnancies or your baby has a stay in the NICU or special care nursery.

➡️ To see some interesting facts about antenatal expressing and how to store it ready to bring into the hospital.
