This World Patient Safety Day, ACHS International joins the global healthcare community in highlighting the importance of safe care for noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).

The 2026 theme, "Safe care for life!", calls for action across the healthcare system to strengthen patient safety in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of NCDs.

For people living with conditions such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes and chronic respiratory diseases, safe and high-quality care is essential throughout every stage of their healthcare journey.
