This patient wanted to address lower eyelid bags that were affecting her overall appearance. Using our laser lower blepharoplasty technique, the excess fat and skin were addressed with a scar-less approach, avoiding the visible external incisions associated with traditional surgery.

Raised, thickened scars can develop after an injury, piercing, or previous surgery, and often continue to grow larger over time if left untreated.

This patient presented with a prominent raised scar along the jawline that had become increasingly noticeable. The scar tissue was surgically excised to remove the raised lesion and allow the area to heal with a flatter, more refined result.

Scar revision surgery involves carefully removing the thickened tissue while minimising tension on the wound edges, helping to reduce the chance of the scar reforming as it heals. In this case, it is recommended that the patient receive other treatments also such as injections and post operative radiation treatment.
