International Guide Dog Day 🐾

Today we celebrate the incredible role Guide Dogs play in supporting people with disability to navigate the world with greater independence, confidence and connection.

We recognise these amazing companions not only for the practical support they provide, but for the freedom, trust and companionship they make possible every day.

Today we also acknowledge the dedication of the trainers, handlers and organisations behind this life-changing support 💛

Today we celebrate Auslan Day 🤟

Auslan (Australian Sign Language) is a rich, expressive language that plays an essential role in connecting the Deaf community and promoting inclusion across Australia.

At NDASS, we recognise the importance of communication for everyone. Whether it’s through words, signs, or gestures, every person deserves to be heard, understood, and included 💛

Let’s take a moment today to learn something new, raise awareness, and celebrate the beauty of Auslan and the Deaf community.

World Health Day 💚

Today is a reminder of the importance of looking after our health and wellbeing — both physically and mentally.

Health means something different to everyone, and with the right support, we can all live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Let’s continue to support one another, raise awareness and create a community where everyone feels well, valued and supported 💚
