It was a busy start back to Term 4 for our Leap Ahead preschoolers yesterday! For many of them, this will be their last term of preschool before they are off to 'big school'. We know they have an exciting term ahead!

🏆 Michael Shines at the Combined High School State Championships! 🏆

We are incredibly proud to share that Michael has had an outstanding performance at the Combined High School State Championships!

Michael competed in both shot put and discus, coming away with an amazing 🥇 GOLD MEDAL in shot put and 🥇 GOLD MEDAL in discus!

But that wasn’t all! Michael also achieved personal bests (PBs) in both events and, in an incredible highlight, set a new State Championship record in shot put! 🎉👏

After a challenging period leading into the championships, Michael showed incredible determination and resilience to get back out there and compete at his best.

His hard work, dedication and love of athletics continue to shine through, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything he has achieved.

Congratulations, Michael! Two gold medals, two PBs and a new State Championship record — what an incredible achievement! 🥇🥇🏆💪

💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Today we celebrate all the wonderful dads, grandfathers, stepdads, uncles and father figures who fill children’s lives with love, laughter, encouragement and endless support.

Thank you for the cuddles, the stories, the silly games, the helping hands and for being there through every little milestone. 🥰

****Leap Ahead School Readiness- NOW AT SMITHFIELD****
Our Smithfield clinic is now taking enrolments for our school readiness classes which will be run each Wednesday from 11:00 -12:00.
Our school readiness classes are designed to help children build the skills needed to make a successful start to school. We facilitate lessons in pre-reading, early numeracy, social skills, fine motor skills and much more.
Our lessons are $30/ hour for private students or $42/hour for NDIS supported students.

Children from 3-5 years old are invited to join us for a 45 minute storytime at The Hills Learning Centre, Smithfield.
Our qualified and experienced teachers will engage your youngster with a fun picture book and craft activity each week .
Perfect for developing vocabulary, receptive language, fine motor and social skills as well as their creativity and imagination.
