Comfort kills potential.
Which is slightly annoying because I happen to really enjoy being comfortable 😂 (it’s the Ta**us in me)
But when I think about it, a LOT of the things I have now came from doing something I really didn’t want to do at first.
Like saying yes to starting my online business, posting about the products for the first time, recording myself talking on my phone and posting that on social media for the world to see 😱
I remember thinking “what will people think?”, “will they laugh at me?” “What if I truly suck at this?”
And now…I speak my truth, I share openly and honestly, and I have gained so much confidence in this. By putting myself out there and being brave enough to give the online business world a shot, I have made some of my closest friendships, travelled Australia and overseas, and I’ve started hacking away at my debt.
None of those things magically became comfortable BEFORE I did them. I just did them enough times that eventually they weren’t a big deal anymore.
And I think that’s the part we forget.
Sometimes waiting for the sign, another month to think about it, or to suddenly wake up feeling 100% ready isn’t going to cut it.
Somethings you just need to do the slightly uncomfortable thing and see what happens.
Because choosing to stay comfortable is costing you the life you keep dreaming about.
