What Pride Month reminds us about belonging at work:
Inclusion is often quiet work. It shows up in meetings, rosters, language, leadership behaviour, and the things we choose not to walk past.
Research shows 39% of LGBTQIA+ employees report experiencing discrimination or harassment at work. That pressure may not always be visible, but it can impact wellbeing, performance and retention over time.
This Pride Month, the question is simple:
Are your workplace systems and behaviours making it easier for people to do their best work — or harder for them to belong?
