Please know this: shame does not belong to you.
For too long, su***de has been surrounded by stigma—like people should “look away,” speak in whispers, or avoid the truth. But the truth is that su***de is often the result of pain that became unbearable, not a message that the people left behind were unwanted or undeserving of love.

If you are willing to share, your story may help someone else breathe.
When we talk openly, we replace silence with understanding. We show that grief is real, that questions are normal, and that compassion is possible. Sharing your experience can help others feel less alone and more able to reach out before they reach a crisis.
