Big I, little i’s. 💛
It’s so easy to let one part of ourselves become the story.
The mistake we made.
The relationship that didn’t work out.
The part of ourselves we wish were different.
The difficult emotion.
The thing we think we should have done better.
But you are so much more than any one of these little pieces.
You are your strengths and your struggles.
Your values, your experiences, your mistakes, your growth.
Your joy, your sadness, your hopes, your fears.
The parts you love — and the parts you’re still learning to accept.
This is at the heart of Growth Psychology.
Growth isn’t about fixing ourselves until we finally become “good enough.”
It’s about understanding ourselves more deeply, accepting the whole of who we are, and then choosing how we want to move forward.
Because self-acceptance doesn’t mean giving up on growth.
It means growing from a place of compassion rather than criticism.
You don’t have to become a different person to be worthy of acceptance.
You can be a work in progress and already be enough.
🌱 Learn. Grow. Live better.
