This has been a long time coming but as of this week I will be adding a weekly yin class to my offerings ♡
What is Yin Yoga?
Yin is a slower practice of yoga compared to other more yang styles such as vinyasa. Yin yoga moves through a series of floor based postures with deep long holds. You can expect to be in each posture for about 2-5 minutes. Drawing from TCM meridian theory, yin yoga works with our connective tissues, such as the fascia, tendons, ligaments, and bones, whereas yang yoga has a more muscular focus. Yin is the perfect complement to any dynamic practice or lifestyle. Curious? Book in for a class. All levels welcome.
